At Unida Translation, We Speak Your Language. That is the core of our business model. We accommodate our clients with the translator or interpreter who knows exactly the language that is needed. We know, for example, that Spanish is not spoken in the same way throughout Latin America, and that there are dialects and variations in other languages, as well. I am proud to share an update with everyone on the company’s first year.
Our services include document translating, interpreting in person, and remote interpreting online and telephonically. Unida Translation covers more than 125 languages. What makes Unida Translation different, and the BEST choice is that ALL our translators and interpreters are certified by a recognized translator and interpreter association such as American Translators Association (ATA) and National Association of Judiciary Interpreters & Translators (NAJIT). Unida Translation is also licensed in the State of Indiana and insured.
Back by popular demand, the service of Spanish and Italian group and private classes was added. We also offer tutoring for those taking Spanish and Italian classes. Now that COVID-19 restrictions are loosening, it is a boundless joy to see former students again, meet new students and share the passion of languages again in person.
As the owner of Unida Translation, I am also thrilled to share with everyone the recognitions, nominations and experiences given to me as they would not have been made possible without the support and contributions of our translators, interpreters, blog writers, administrative assistants, mentors, clients, family, and friends.
On May 14, 2021, Latinas In Business, Inc. featured an article about me as a “Latina in Business.” Then on August 17, 2021, they republished one of our blogs titled “How Translation Services Can Help Healthcare Professionals Combat Human Trafficking.” This is our most read blog! Recently, they also recognized me as “Leader of the Month” or better known as one of their “2022WEES.” Thank you to this organization for all their support.
On October 1, 2021, Graphic Design USA recognized our website as an award-winning website and this is thanks to Devarj Design Agency, Inc. for designing our website. On October 13, 1 Million Cups Northwest Indiana invited me to be the first in-person speaker of 2021. On October 28, I was invited by the Lake County Bar Association Bankruptcy Section to speak about Unida Translation and how Unida adds value in front of Chapter 13 Trustee Paul Chael.
On January 21, 2022, The Society of Innovators Purdue Northwest listed me on their 2022 Women to Watch List that includes innovators and entrepreneurs who are making an impact across Northwest Indiana. In April, I was invited twice to represent Unida Translation live on the air on WJOB AM 1230 & FM 104.7. Mr. Jim Dedelow interviewed me on his morning show and Mr. Tony Panek and Mr. Sonny Santana interviewed me on “The Region Rush Hour.” In May, I was nominated by Northwest Indiana Influential Women Association for the 2022 Influential Women of Northwest Indiana Awards.
